Footprint/Handprint Turkeys

Who can resist a footprint/handprint craft?  This is one that Bekah taught to all of us.  Here's what you need:

-two or three sheets of white paper per person (depending on how big your hands and feet are)
-an extra sheet of paper for cutting beaks and feet from
-crayons
-glue stick
-googley eyes

What to do:

Trace your foot (or have someone do this for you) and each of your hands.

Color those pieces however you like.  Bekah recommends coloring the foot brown (this will be the body of the turkey) and making the hands very colorful (these will be the wings)

When everything is colored, place the hand together so they look like wings and then glue the body on top of them (see photo of our finished turkeys below).

Have one person sketch some turkey legs and a triangle for each beak.  Or if everyone wants to cut out their own, they can do that.  Color these as well and glue them in the appropriate places.

And you are done!  As you can see, you can choose to glue your finished turkey to a piece of background paper, or you can just leave it as-is.  Also, you could use colored construction paper for the body, feet and beaks if you would rather do that than color.
